Auction Addict

As I sit at my computer, serenaded by the quiet hum of my husbands snores my body barely manages to remain upright after a day at the auction.

Nothing compares - at the end of the day Winston took one look at me and said "you want to keep bidding don't you?"

Yes, I love it! I love researching and hunting for those few great cars! I love deciding what we need to create the perfect balance on our lot. As anyone who knows me will attest I am a gesturing face toucher so the auction really freaked me out when I started; but you guessed it, I love barely nodding in my calm fashion to register my bid. LOL

Can you be an Auction Addict? Can you be good at working an auction? I feel like I'm really good at this, Winston will be the first to tell you that I may have found my hidden skill.

Of course any new business would wish to have oodles of money to play with when starting up but working it on a tight just enough budget sharpens your skills. You can't make one error and the place with the biggest room for error is the Auction.

What can you get it for - what can you sell it for - how badly do you need it - are you getting carried away?

Perhaps this feeling of sharp excitement will die down with time. In fact I'm sure it will when making a purchasing error is not as critical. But for now, each time I nod or walk away I am keenly aware that I'm building my business and right or wrong with a single gesture I am taking my company one step closer to success!
