Now that I've read about it frankly I'm kind of surprised it took this long to arrive.
Mazda has come out with the new Mazda 2 for 2011 - a small entry level hatchback to introduce it's line to a younger generation. But they didn't stop there. These hipper little cars can be accessorized with "unique" skins. I say unique with eyebrows raised because in this case unique means one of 84 potential options
Owners can choose from one of four themes: three music-based themes (Rock, Pop and Urban) and one performance-inspired theme (Speed). Each Skins design comes in three different sizes (small, medium and large) and seven different colors to match the body colors of the Mazda2, for a total of 84 different decal variations! Depending on the size, the cost is $375, $455 or $595 plus installation.
I remember as a teenager when I admired those of my classmates dressed in outrageous clothes or all in black my father would point out that they all looked the same - this didn't stop them from expressing their "uniqueness" and I suspect it won't stop people from buying Mazda's unique skins. :) They are pretty.
However, if you're looking for a truly unique look and perhaps have something other than a Mazda 2 - I could recommend looking up the Car Wrap Lady. Perhaps you could match your car to your iPhone. Maybe a bejewelled Smart Car??? For some reason that makes me happy. LOL
For those of you with creative flair - start doodling and until next time . . .
Happy Driving!
You have got me thinking about which design I would go with. Probably something very manly, now flowers for this car guy.
ReplyDeleteI think it is about time Mazda came up with a replacement for the 323, this was sorely missing in the product line-up. I look forward to taking this one for a test drive!
