small produce = big pay off?

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I love my gardens - my particular pride is my tiny veggie garden. I'm a late blooming self-taught by trial and error gardener and if you come over between March and September chances are high I will walk you out to see my precious green things.

This year, my veggie garden was doing better than it ever had before - still far from rabbit nirvana - but we were regularly able to eat something from it.

I've just learned another new business owner/gardner lesson: veggies need to be tended; new businesses need to be tended; and you must pick one. With all the excitement and busy-ness of starting this business my poor veggies have been left to fend for themselves. I just walked out there for possibly the first time in over a week.

I think the veggie harvest is over for the summer; however, I console myself that I was laying the seeds for a different kind of harvest.
