Today I'll be short and hopefully sweet. :)
We brought in a gorgeous Mercedes about a week ago. We were very excited to sell it as it drove like a dream and was really lux feeling. As we had not completed inspections and detailing we had not yet listed it for sale but even still it was generating some action on the lot.
BCAA came and inspected it yesterday and there's nothing wrong with it that can't be fixed - and we will be fixing it - but in it's current state the inspector suggested we not drive it because the wheel might come flying off!!
We were shocked at the inspection results to say the least, there was no hint of trouble while driving this car.
Fellow drivers - this is why you either pay for a thorough inspection or go to a dealer that pays for that inspection for you. As cars have become more complex and more computerized our dads, brothers and husbands are no longer "take it for a spin" replacement for a thorough inspection.
Thanks to our BCAA inspector we will now be able to get this problem fixed and sell this car with confidence but more importantly our customer can drive home happy and confidently in his/her lux new car!
Until next time Happy Driving!
Beware of private sellers! You have virtually no recourse if they sell you a lemon. Do your homework and buy from a BCAA inspected dealership!
